PERU VISA INFORMATION

VISA REQUIREMENTS CHANGE OFTEN.
PLEASE CONTACT THE PERUVIAN EMBASSY IN YOUR COUNTRY FOR THE LATEST INFORMATION.

If you are a national of GROUP 2 or GROUP 3, please contact the nearest Peruvian Consulate or Embassy in your home country prior to travel. They will provide the necessary information and procedure to obtain your Peruvian visa. Remember to leave plenty of time to process your visa application.

Visa requirements for entry to Peru are divided into three groups:

GROUP 1

This group is for countries who DO NOT require a visa to enter Peru for tourist purposes of up to 90 days.

The only requirements needed for your entry to Peru are:

• Passport that is valid for at least six months after arrival in Peru
• Return or onward ticket to show departure details from Peru

COUNTRIES IN GROUP 1:

Andorra, Antigua & Barbuda, Argentina, Australia, Austria, Bahamas, Barbados, Belarus, Belgium, Belize, Bolivia, Brazil, Brunei Bulgaria, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Cook Islands, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Dominica, Dominican Rep., Ecuador, Estonia, Fiji, Finland, France, Germany, Granada, Greece, Guyana, Haiti, Hong Kong, Hungary, Iceland, Indonesia, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Jamaica, Japan, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Malaysia, Malta, Moldova, Monaco, Netherlands, New Zealand, Nicaragua, Norway, Panama, Paraguay, Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Republic of Korea, Russian Federation, Serbia and Montenegro, Singapore, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, Trinidad & Tobago, Ukraine, United Kingdom, Uruguay, USA, Vanuatu, Venezuela.

GROUP 2

This group is for countries who DO need a visa to enter Peru.

Please arrange for your visa independantly through the nearest Peruvian Consulate or Embassy in your home country prior to travel. Remember to leave plenty of time for your visa application to process.

Documents required for Peru Visa in GROUP 2:

Passport that is valid for at least six months after arrival in Peru
• Return or onward ticket to show departure details from Peru
• Two passport-sized color photographs
• Two completed visa application forms
• May be asked for proof of financial solvency such as a credit card.
• Visa payment of $12.00 USD (cash is recommended if applying for visa at Peru Immigration as credit cards are not normally accepted).

COUNTRIES IN GROUP 2:

All African countries (except South Africa), Albania, Algeria, Anguilla, Armenia, Aruba, Bahrain, Bermuda, Bhutan, Bosnia Herzegovina, British Virgin Islands, Cambodia, Canary Islands, Cayman Islands, Comoros, Costa Rica, Egypt, El Salvador, Falkland Islands, French Polynesia, Georgia, Gibraltar, Guadeloupe, Guam, Guatemala, Honduras, India, Jordon, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Laos, Lebanon, Martinique, Mexico, Mongolia, Morocco, Myanmar, Nepal, Netherland Antillies, Nicaragua, North Korea, Palestine, Papua New Guinea, Puerto Rico, Romania, Saudia Arabia, Tajikistan, Tunisia, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Vietnam.

GROUP 3

This group is for countries who DO need a visa to enter Peru, AND DO require additional authorization from the Immigration Office in Lima in order to obtain a tourist visa.

If you are a national in GROUP 3, each visa application will be assessed as an individual case. You will need to contact the nearest Peruvian Consulate or Embassy in your home country prior to travel for more information and procedure. Please allow plenty of time for your visa application to process.

Documents required for Peru Visa in GROUP 3:

Passport that is valid for at least six months after arrival in Peru
• Return or onward ticket to show departure details from Peru
• Two passport-sized color photographs
• Two completed visa application forms
• Written authorization from Immigration in Lima
• May be asked for proof of financial solvency
• Charges may vary due to country

Below is the list of countries that are in GROUP 3:

Bangladesh, Cuba, People's Republic of China, Iran, Iraq, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka.
