Each month I receive anxious emails wondering where the Surf Report is or why it is late? The Surf Reports are based on my intuitive feelings of the energies of the month, not on astrology or numerology. Sometimes, it takes me a few days to tune into the energies of the month especially if I am busy, undergoing a personal crisis, or in a deep quiet place where words don't come easily.

SOLARA'S SURF REPORT FOR APRIL 2002

Here we are in an immense pressure cooker, feeling squished by the density of the energy all around us. Tremendous pressure is being exerted upon us every moment. Pressure which sometimes becomes so crushing that all we want to do is sleep or become very still.

Things are moving quickly all around us and yet it is also extremely quiet in the center of the ever increasing weight of this relentless pressure. Often, we feel that we need to become so still that we almost enter a state of suspended animation; at these times our vital energies feel dangerously low and fragile. Whenever this happens, even the smallest of tasks becomes formidable. Our motivation is gone and nothing seems urgent enough to pull us out of our deep silence.

Such a huge weight is upon the planet, pushing down upon all of us, affecting everyone whether they are consciously aware of it or not. This weight is caused by the extremely complex multiplicity of issues and emotions currently playing themselves out. It's as if all the latent issues on both personal and planetary levels are rising to the surface to be dealt with all at once.

This imbues each moment with a sense of being at the end of the world. And in many ways, we have reached that point. Many things are coming to an end. Many elements in our lives are coming to completion. A whole world, a whole way of doing things and a whole way of being are dying away.

As we sit in the pressure cooker with the pressure mounting, we are being completely stripped of our previous perceptions and beliefs, of our old aspirations and values, of the familiar landscape of our lives which we took so much for granted. Old relationships are finally done. Very few of them matter anymore and new ones are still unformed.

Some of us won't survive the squashing pressure and will choose to leave the planet at this time. Some of us often don't think we will survive, but we probably will. Very few of us are bounding ahead with enthusiasm. It's a critical time for humanity and much is on the line. This makes us more serious than we have ever been.

During these troubled times, duality appears to be ascending. On outer appearances it is, BUT IN REALITY, IT IS NOT. It's important to remember this at all times. Spots of brightness appear where you least expect them. And it's important that we remain open to recognizing them.

Many of us are experiencing weird physical symptoms. Ailments which western medicine doesn't know what to do with. Some of us feel a sadness; others a deep depression, sort of like Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome. Some of us are eating a lot, while others are eating little. Some people need constant movement, walking alit and keeping constantly busy; while others can barely move or just want to sleep.

WHAT IS REALLY HAPPENING:

The old level of reality is being squished by this rising pressure into nonexistence. We feel something new coming, but since we can't find it in the usual areas, we often assume that it isn't happening. This is because the shift taking place is so much deeper than we expected and it's happening on very different levels.

The openings are occurring in new and unexpected places. Like bubbles opening up in molten lava creating new lava tubes. Passageways which lead us to new levels of consciousness and new places. Golden opportunities are steadily appearing in the midst of what appear to be hopeless or dismal situations.

All of this is pushing us out of the old world into another world which is HERE - NOW, but in a different sector of HERE - NOW. It's the Greater Reality and it's essential that we enter it and live our lives from there.

Around the middle of April, there will be a shift in the composition of the pressure upon us. As the Winds of Change start to blow, there will be numerous changes swirling about us throughout the second half of the month.

Many of us are going to be making dramatic changes in our lives soon, moving to new places and new jobs. Leaving behind old relationships and ways of being. These changes will not be found in any logical, linear progression from where we are now to where we will be going. They are not something we are going to think about and plan. Rather, they will appear almost "Out of the Blue" from unexpected directions, almost like wormholes in space, and take us to totally new situations and places which we didn't anticipate.

These outer changes will not fully take effect until May and June, but the momentum for them will be created this month. This will occur due to the deep inner rearranging and transfiguration we will experience in April. As we continue to let go of the past and move into a sense of Personal Freedom, we shall be aligning deeper with our Core Beings.

April is a very intense month, but it is also a most positive one. It is one of those "From Here to There" months in which there is a great transfer of energies taking place which will take us into New Directions.

It's crucial that we don't feed the duality swirling about and that we continue to anchor our beings in Oneness. And that we be on the lookout for the new openings into the Greater Reality.

HELPFUL ACTIVITIES FOR APRIL:

Don't Buy Into Duality:
There are no "Good Guys" and "Bad Guys". There are no "Good Countries" & "Bad Countries". There are no "Good Religions" & "Bad Religions". There is only the One!

Continually Look Beyond Outer Appearances:
Nothing is as it appears to be. Step out of any residue of fear or anger and take a good, clear look at what is really happening. Don't take anyone's word on what is happening. Don't blindly follow authority figures. Figure it out for yourself from a place of vastness and all-encompassing Love.

Strengthen Your Compassion:
There is simply not enough compassion on the Earth at this time. Many of us are feeling assaulted by the energies of anger and fear. It's a challenging time with duality running amok. This is exactly when compassion is most needed. Consciously become an embodiment of compassion. Be like the Sun which has no personal favorites and extend your compassion to all beings equally.

Rerouting Opportunities Abound:
Whenever there are blockages or things don't happen quite as you would like them to, simply understand that things are being rerouted to bring them into alignment with the state of RIGHT TIME, RIGHT PLACE.

When New Doorways Open, Leap!:
There is no time to sit and ponder whether we should take these new opportunities which are being presented to us. If it feels right, do it. Leap! And then leap again!

Don't Try To Hold On To The Ones Going Out Of Our Lives:
Many people and situations are going to be leaving our lives. The resonance is shifting dramatically, making this is a natural occurrence. Let go gracefully and wish them well.

Emptiness is Good:
If you feel empty, embrace that feeling. It's a good thing and something that all of us experience when huge chunks of our old ways of being and doing things leaves our lives. This is a pregnant emptiness, a sacred place where we await the birth of the New.

Spend time each day in your vastness, showering the Earth and all its inhabitants with Love.

Inhabit our One Being at all times:
As we consciously live in our One Being, we also nourish and strengthen the resonance of Oneness throughout the world.
